The two-bedroom suite was perfect for us and our cats during the Blizzard of 26, and I’m so glad we chose this place. It had two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a shared living room and kitchen. The unit had its own thermostat and a strong heater. The living room was comfortable for us and the cats, with a big TV and warm gas fireplace. The switch is on the wall. The kitchen had a full stove and oven, large fridge, microwave, and plenty of dishes, glasses, mugs, and flatware. There weren’t many cooking supplies, maybe just one large covered pot and one small one, but that was enough for us. There were potholders, dish towels, dish liquid, dishwasher detergent, and a sponge. I can’t remember whether there were spatulas or serving utensils, though I think there were. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The shower spray was pretty wimpy, lol, but there was enough hot water to stay warm and get clean. Most of all, the staff across management, front desk, housekeeping, facilities, and breakfast were phenomenal. Many stayed on site through the storm, so there was zero disruption to service. It feels selfish to say, but they were also about to give us a discount for staying longer than we’d planned. Everyone was kind and went out of their way to help.

With the snowstorm, I can only imagine how overwhelmed all the hotels were. We had a booking issue with booking.com, and Nelly went above and beyond to help us. She put us in a room upgraded from what we’d reserved because of the inconvenience. Her customer service was top tier. You rarely find someone with service that good these days. She was just amazing, and I can’t say enough great things. Thank you, Nelly!

The suite was spacious and clean, and it had a full kitchen, which was a huge plus for me, my wife, and our 3 children. We also enjoyed the free breakfast buffet. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location was convenient for local attractions and restaurants. I recently stayed at the Residence Inn and had an amazing time. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay. Five stars!

Nelly made the whole stay better with her customer service. We accidentally booked the wrong type of room, and she worked her magic to fix it. She was friendly, always smiling and greeting us when we got back, and wishing us well when we headed out. We ordered towels, and the other front desk person said we’d need to pick them up. Just as we were getting ready to go down, Nelly knocked on our door with a stack of towels. I’m so thankful for all she did. I can’t say enough good things about Nelly. If amazing customer service matters to you, I highly recommend visiting Nelly at Residence Inn North Dartmouth/New Bedford.

Everyone we dealt with was so friendly and attentive, from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance. We stayed for two weeks with our dogs, and had a great time. The rooms do need updating, like other people have mentioned, though it sounds like that may be happening later this year. That would make an already good hotel even better.
