Never coming back. The internet was poor, and the room was bad quality. There were cockroaches, it smelled like weed, and the sheets were stained. We got only two medium towels, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper. The front desk stayed closed the whole time. The elevator got stuck briefly, and the stairs were dirty and smelled like sweat, like pets had peed there. It looked like people lived there. Don’t let the pictures fool you.

We left a day early and didn’t ask for our money back. It was horrible. The laundry room had no detergent for sale, and the floors were filthy. We asked them to mop, but they just spread the dirt around. Though the place is supposed to be non-smoking with no marijuana use, the hallways smelled like both. One night someone used a key to get into the room above us. They opened the door, but the person inside had the top lock on. Their dog went ballistic and woke us up. The next night the people next door fought, screaming and slamming the heavy door until our bed shook.

Right from the lobby, I was welcomed and treated so well. Elijah went out of his way to make guests feel at home rather than like just another hotel customer. He knew many of them by name and is a real asset to Extended Stay in Davie. Thank you so much for everything, Elijah.

I travel a lot for work and have stayed at plenty of hotels and motels across all 50 states, so I was flabbergasted by some of the reviews here. This place is incredible, and the staff go out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The laundry room is spacious, clean, and convenient. The fitness center surprised me too. Sure, I’ve seen cardio rooms with a couple of ellipticals and a treadmill, but this one has those as well as a Smith machine for strength training. They really are pet friendly. I brought my military service dog, and he was as comfortable as my daughter and me. He loves it here and all the positive attention he gets. Definitely recommend it, and I’ll stay again!
