I visited my brother at this motel for a few hours today, my first time here. The room and location felt relaxing and quiet. It’s right alongside the highway entrance, so there are trucks.

The room had a headboard loose from the screws on one side and hanging over the bed, outlets that wouldn't hold plugs for charging phones, and a vending machine that was never available. We couldn't get extra towels or toilet paper, and he wouldn't tell us where to find the ice machine. He also charged a security deposit for every issue I reported when I first booked, and never refunded it, even though those problems were already there. The man behind the counter showed no respect. I had prepaid for a room, had already stayed the previous night, and was there asking for what I paid for. He got loud, said I hadn't paid, refused to check my booking confirmation, and told me I couldn't get my money back. When I tried to talk, he banged on the door and yelled at me to leave. I yelled back that I'd return with police escorts to get my money. He threatened to call the cops, but I left. I'm going to take legal action over how I was treated and being denied what I paid for, including extra charges for existing damage. The same guy had refused me rooms on other occasions too, including a few weeks earlier when I was trying to book for the first time. I don't get mad easily, but he got me screaming. I need the refund for two days and my deposit back, or I'll come with escorts to get it.

We could hear the guy in the next room snoring, so the walls could use a bit more thickness. Still, everything else was super comfortable. I loved the simple, modern decor and how clean it was. The lobby smelled great, and the receptionist welcomed us with fresh lemon water. The shower had great pressure, which matters a lot to me, and the toiletries were eco-friendly. Felt like a four-star stay for a two-star price. I'd recommend it to friends passing through.

The sheets were filthy, and the room was terribly dirty. There was no heater in the room, even though it was 32°F outside. I only stayed because it was late and bitterly cold. I absolutely do not recommend this place.
