Quality Inn Hillsboro

The rooms are clean and updated, and the location is great, with restaurants within walking distance. Front desk and housekeeping staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. The owners make a point of meeting each guest, and the customer service is great. Hands down, the best motel to stay at in Hillsboro, Texas.

We only needed a cheap place for one night after a concert, and getting in after 1 a.m. made this work for us. The staff were great and the beds comfortable. The room itself was just okay, though, and the bathroom towel shelf was hanging off the wall with drywall showing.

We picked this hotel because our bus tour left from here, and several tour companies use it. It’s also handy for meeting up with friends and starting a trip, right by the split between I-35 West and East. The room was clean, comfortable, and simple. The pillows could use an upgrade, like at most hotels. We got three different explanations from three people about leaving our car during the trip, and the front desk clerk didn’t know about it. At least we know what to expect now, so it should go more smoothly next time.

We arrived early on May 14, the third day of our Texas trip, and the day manager kindly let us check in ahead of time. Our first-floor room near the parking lot was clean and comfortable. After a day in Waco, about half an hour away, we came back to find housekeeping had accidentally missed our room. The same manager took care of it personally right away. When we returned from Waco again the next day, the room had been refreshed. The manager paid close attention to what we needed throughout our stay. We were very pleased and would highly recommend this hotel.
