Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dayton Downtown

The staff know their stuff and are helpful, and the rooms have a thoughtful layout. Everything was clean. Since it’s downtown Dayton, you’ll hear the city. Just an observation, not a complaint. Breakfast is all instant: coffee, eggs, and oatmeal, so be aware of that.

Samantha was especially helpful and friendly at the front desk. Linda there was also knowledgeable about places to eat and always smiling and welcoming. Our room was spacious and clean, and the hotel has a very nice workout facility with plenty of equipment. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

That white noise machine on the nightstand should’ve been a warning. This was the loudest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We could hear people talking next door as if they were in our room, and street traffic woke us all night even from the third floor. Parking was a pain too. You shouldn’t have to download an app and hand over all your information just to park. I won’t stay here again.

Dorthy at the Front Desk was warm and helpful, and Aaron got us some extra pillows. We really appreciated how kind and attentive the staff were. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. I’d highly recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay in Dayton.
