Sea Club IV

It’s a family-friendly place with a pool, deck, BBQ area, and beach access. The smaller four or five floor setup means there aren’t as many people around, which is nice. It’s been freshly painted and is getting back in good shape after the hurricane.

We had infants with us, so all the noise made this a really unpleasant stay. This was our third time here, and every visit there’s been some kind of construction without any warning. The prices are too high to spend a stay listening to work and seeing men right outside your window. The drains around the outdoor pool were backed up, and one year there wasn’t any pool access. This year was the last straw for me. There are better and cheaper places where you can get some peace and rest. If you book, call first and ask about construction and noise on the property. They give no discount for the disruption.

LOVED IT! The room was amazing, the location was great, and the staff went above and beyond. They were still making repairs outside from last year’s hurricanes, so that area looked a bit rough. It was a studio with a Murphy bed. Sorry the pictures aren’t great, I pulled them from a video.

The noise was so loud we couldn’t hold a conversation in the room, by the pool, or anywhere else on the property without shouting. Construction started every morning around 7:30 to 8am and went on until after 5-6pm. Management called it “light construction,” but they weren’t upfront about how disruptive it would be. I would 100% not recommend staying here while this work is going on. If they’re doing this kind of construction, they should close the property for several months until it’s done.
