Shore Winds Motel

The rooms are okay, but what they call a full kitchen seems more like a kitchenette to me. Prices feel a little high too.

The rooms are small, but clean and nice. I had no complaints until the day we came back from the beach and left the door open so our kids could play on the patio. We heard a loud noise and ran out to see a car hit a parked truck. The woman got out and started yelling at my kids for looking at her. I confronted her, and she said she was the property's “owner” and could make us leave because the kids had looked at her. We ended our vacation early. If you can't talk to or handle people better than that, you shouldn't own a business. She yelled at children who had just witnessed her hit a parked vehicle and try to leave without speaking to the truck's owner. I don't recommend this hotel if you have kids.

Pineapple shores, thanks for making a trip the two of us won't forget! My friend and I stayed seven days for my 21st birthday, and the location was beyond amazing. The beach is directly across the street and to the right. It's a small room, but for the price we made it work. It was cleaner than I expected, and they provided three toilet paper rolls, paper towels, sunglasses, beer coozies, soap, and extra sheets and pillowcases. When the sliding door gave us trouble, someone came to fix it within a day and even offered a tension rod and curtain in the meantime. The WiFi wasn't too shabby, and everyone is going to find something to bash a hotel or motel for, but this place was great for service, location, and cleanliness. There's a restaurant, grocery store, and gas station within a 5-10 minute walk, and Daytona Boardwalk is about an eight-minute drive. Highly recommend if you want to be near the beach.

A fun, creative place with artwork and decor I liked. The renovated rental rooms are in an old retro building, right across from the beach and close to attractions and events.
