Sea Shells Beach Club

We stayed one night and checked out on Memorial Day, and couldn't believe how nice the hotel was for the low price. Our room had a well-stocked kitchenette, the pool was clean and lovely, and the outdoor area was beautiful and well cared for. It's right on the beach, too. The employees were all kind and helpful, and anything we needed was available. We had such a good time that my husband wants this to be our regular Daytona Beach hotel, and next time we'll stay longer. Don't come expecting five-star service or breakfast in bed. But if you want a family-friendly, comfortable place with a nice atmosphere and staff who care about your vacation, this is a great choice.

The rooms were fresh and very clean, and the recent improvements since our last visit were lovely, especially the oceanfront courtyard. We also liked being near restaurants and attractions while staying in a quieter part of Daytona. Since it's a smaller property, getting from the room to the ocean and back during the day was easy, and the beach is just steps away. A gentleman who lives onsite was especially friendly and helpful, and seemed to really care about guests having a good time. That kind of service reminded us of beach trips years ago, when people took pride in their small hotels and made visitors feel welcome. We had a wonderful stay and will absolutely return. Highly recommend it for a clean, comfortable, welcoming beach stay.

We wanted a good location and a kitchen so we wouldn't have to keep spending extra on meals out, and Seashells fit what we needed. The price was fair, the accommodations were excellent, and Publix is just down the street. We were very pleased when we arrived, and we'll book here every year from now on.

It's a cute, quaint place, like a little beach cottage, and John, who checked us in, is the nicest guy. My one complaint is that the beds could use an update, at least the king-size one in a lower-level room.
