Travel Inn of Daytona

Room 101 has become the heartbeat of my healing. I share it with my chosen family, Joshua Stone and Joshua Byrd, and as a long-term resident, I think of Travel Inn as a sanctuary, not a motel. Here we laugh until the walls echo and treat setting boundaries like a sacred ritual. Dignity is just the baseline. The staff's kindness doesn't feel performed or transactional. They respect our quiet and privacy, and their care feels rare. They see us as people rebuilding something fragile and beautiful. In the middle of Daytona Beach, the inn is close enough to the noise to remind you it's there, but far enough away to protect your peace. It's not flashy and doesn't pretend to be, and that's part of the magic. You could launch a nonprofit, raise a child, or simply get through the week here without losing your soul. This isn't a party place or a pit stop. It's somewhere to reset. If you're lucky enough to stay long-term, you'll learn that the walls might be thin, but this place's spirit is full of grace. Treat it with reverence. It's more than a room to me, it's a resurrection. We'll be here as long as they'll have us ♥️

We booked two rooms on July 4th and found bed bugs, ants, spiders, and other bugs in them. The blankets, sheets, and carpet were filthy. The toilet leaked, the shower didn't work, and an old window AC was kept inside the closet. There was no wifi, and the man at the front desk was very rude.

The woman in the office was very nice. The rooms are basic and a little dated, but fine when you just need somewhere to sleep and shower. It was good value and within 5 mins from biketoberfest.

We both paid for a room with a king bed, me and my nephew, but they put us in a room with two double beds instead. The beds were hard as rocks, and the water would turn as hot as it could go but wasn't even warm. We killed two bugs, and my nephew's room was just as bad. Staff kept ignoring us, wouldn't give us the wifi password, and didn't answer our questions. It's the worst motel I've stayed at on vacation so far. I stayed at a campground last night just so I wouldn't have to go back.
