The Ennis Inn And Pub

We had a big, spacious king suite with a microwave and a fireplace that kept us warm, plus our own deck over the river. We even did a little fishing from the deck and caught some stuff. The setting was beautiful, quiet, and safe, and parking was easy. Our refrigerator stopped working, but they replaced it right away. The staff were courteous and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was really good, and so was the bar. Breakfast was simple. We’d recommend the place and would like to come back.

The sound of the rushing water beneath this 175-year-old converted grain mill is impressive, though you can’t hear it inside. The stone walls are three feet thick, and the lobby has a great atmosphere with its Thai theme from Nuks restaurant. Our first-floor suite was a fun space, with a balcony, fireplace, and room to move around. There’s even an elevator to the underground hallway. The jacuzzi tub didn’t work, which was a bummer. Breakfast was basic, with microwave sandwiches, toaster waffles, yogurt, and the like, but no eggs and bacon or Jok. Free coffee all day, cookies, and bagged ice were nice extras. We had a great time and will be back.

I needed somewhere to stay in GB at short notice on a busy weekend, and the front desk person, Susie?, was really helpful and gave great customer service. The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s a well-kept historic boutique hotel in an unusual location with dining options nearby. Free breakfast covers the basics.

The staff were super friendly, and the riverside location is a cool spot. I imagine it’d be nice there in spring and summer. This is an old-timey, quirky place with a cozy, quaint feel. If you’re looking for a Marriott-style room, keep going. I’d absolutely recommend it.
