Six of us in the family stayed for a weekend and loved the location, rooms, and amenities. The beds and pillows were wonderfully soft, and we appreciated both the in-room coffee and fresh-ground coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was good, and being downtown is fabulous. Staff were all very kind and helpful. We’ll definitely return. Parking was the only downside. It’s difficult for anyone with mobility issues, and I hope they add valet parking in the future.

Everyone at this hotel was fabulous from start to finish. I’d booked the wrong dates and needed to add another day, but it was a smooth transaction with no issues. The front desk staff were outstanding, and Levi took time to share extra history with my husband. Thanks to you all for making our stay special. I recommend this hotel 100%.

We come every year with friends. The service is great, the rooms are clean, the beds are COMFY, and breakfast is great. Charlotte is FABULOUS!!! 🤩 My one complaint is the ventilation. Every year our room smells of cigarettes coming through it.

The evening staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the younger woman who handled breakfast was lovely too. Breakfast was the same each morning, but there was plenty for all five of us to find something we liked. The room was decent and had enough space for us. Parking was a little inconvenient, though we know that’s just how it is in parts of Deadwood. We stayed three nights and booked through Hotels.com, but couldn’t get a wheelchair accessible room. There wasn’t an accessible room available when we checked in, so we had to make do. My husband is a below-the-knee amputee, and an accessible room would have made things much easier. At check-in we were told the manager on the morning shift would apply our military discount at checkout, since Hotels.com hadn’t offered that option when we booked. When we checked out, my husband asked the manager about it. We didn’t get her name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag. She was rude and offered just $5 off a bill of more than $600 for three nights. She made it clear that even talking with him was an inconvenience and didn’t seem to care. We won’t stay here again because of how disrespectful she was, not because of the discount itself. We’ll stay somewhere else next time.
