The accessible room was on the first floor, which was convenient, and it was clean, so I didn't ask to move. But it had a step-in tub with no grab bar, not a roll-in or walk-in shower, which seemed odd for a room intended for someone with a disability. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast bar had plenty to choose from, including fresh fruit. The room was among the cleanest we've stayed in, smelled fresh, and had good bathroom lighting. Toiletries were well stocked, though I wish housekeeping had left tissues, and I think the vanity would be better with a liquid soap dispenser instead of a tiny bar. It was quiet inside and out, and the parking worked well for our one-night stay. The price was quite reasonable compared with nearby hotels. As we were loading the car, a housekeeper ran over to return my wife's makeup bag, which she'd found on the bed. I didn't have small bills to thank her then. I hope to see her on our next visit and remember to do so. We also had the hotel's coffee, which was good.

The room was roomy, and the bed was really comfortable. It's a pet-friendly, nicely updated hotel, and the rate was very reasonable. We left too early for the free breakfast, but did try the coffee, which was pretty good.

The breakfast was okay, and the eggs were dry, but it got us going. We were only there for one night. The rooms were clean, though the beds were hard enough that we put the comforter underneath us for extra comfort. The ice machines on floors one and two were broken, while the third-floor one worked. Only one elevator was in service.

I've never been let down here. Check-in is easy, and they grant my special requests without making a fuss. I check the rooms and bathrooms closely every time, and they're always clean. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

I found the room clean and comfortable, and it was near the breakfast area. The hot and cold options were filling enough that I didn't need to look for breakfast elsewhere, which I often do at hotels. They had mini cheese omelets, warm biscuits, a meat item, and hot gravy at the Comfort Inn & Suites River City Decatur. I would've liked bananas too, but I was satisfied with the selection.
