The breakfast staff were kind, which was the one good part of this stay. The room smelled of body odor and felt dirty; there was hair on the sheets, and the bed smelled bad too, so I wasn't sure the sheets had been cleaned. I didn't sleep on them. There was mold in the shower and a tile lying on the floor just outside it. The bathroom sink stopper was stuck down when I arrived in the late afternoon. Its little lift handle was broken, so the sink wouldn't drain and I couldn't use it. I told the front desk, and was told it would be fixed first thing in the morning. I left for work without putting out the do not disturb sign, but when I came back it still hadn't been fixed. The kitchen sink filled up and drained slowly, though I could manage with it. I come to Decatur for work every couple of weeks and won't stay here again. Spend your money somewhere else.

The kids liked the snack basket at the front desk, and breakfast was good. We were comfortable in the beds, and the hotel looks out over the Tennessee River. The shower water was amazingly hot, the best hotel shower I've had. Thanks, Home 2 Suites, for making our weekend feel like home.

The hallways were chilly, breakfast felt pretty average, and there weren't many drink choices at first, just tea and coffee. Quite a bit of the fitness equipment didn't work, and the bedding kept coming loose because the sheets didn't fit well. Turndown service left the blankets tossed upright and didn't straighten the sheets. *Edit* Hilton got in touch about my concerns a day or so after I posted. Since then the turndown service has improved, and breakfast has had drinks besides tea and coffee. I was impressed they responded so quickly.

We had a comfortable bed and a lovely river view during our two-day stay. The staff were all friendly, and breakfast was great each morning. We'd happily stay here again.

I'm disappointed, since this used to be my favorite place to stay. The rooms are roomy, the mini-kitchen is useful, and the gym has plenty of space and a decent setup. My room was clean and the staff were fine, but the place is starting to look worn: wallpaper is peeling all over, my outlet didn't work, the shower handle was loose, and there was a stain on the chair. It feels like there's no money going toward upkeep.
