Bed & Breakfast On Broadway

We loved how quiet the place was, even though we could walk uptown for food or shopping. Each evening there were light refreshments, and breakfast was healthy, homemade, and delicious. Our Inspiration Suite had plenty of space and everything we needed, including a hot tub and sauna shower. We also loved having coffee each morning under the witches hat in the turret. The decor is thoughtful throughout, and everything is clearly well cared for.

We only stayed one night and couldn't make it to breakfast, though it sounded lovely. The hosts greeted us when we arrived, and the room was nicely heated for the season. It had its own bathroom and a lock and key, and the Wi-Fi worked great. A beautiful home with all the comforts. Highly recommend.

We didn't try any of the food or drinks because we keep kosher, but I was still really impressed by this B&B. We stayed in the Tower Room on the top floor, with a charming little dining spot tucked beneath the east side of the tower and a Jacuzzi or Jacuzzi-style tub beside the bed. The place was sparkling clean, with quasi-Victorian decor. My husband and I visited years ago for our anniversary, and I still think about going back whenever I pass by. We live near Decorah, so I see it often. A friend suggested we book the Tower Room, and I'd pass along the same advice if you can.

Melissa and Matthew are thoughtful about the details, from clear, punctual communication to clean rooms and tasty morning treats. There are often nightcaps too. The beautiful accommodations are right near everything in Downtown Decorah. Park out front, then you can walk almost anywhere you want to go.
