Wyndham Fort Smith City Center

We stopped in just for a night's sleep and it was perfect for that. The rooms weren't fancy, but they were clean. It was dark when we got there and still dark when we left, so we didn't get to look around much. I could see a pool, restaurant, and bar, though I didn't try any of them.

I stayed for a little over three weeks and had a great time here. The staff were friendly and started to feel like family. They picked up on my routines and would chat whenever we crossed paths. The open spaces are great, and I used the gym every day. The water feature was a nice extra. There's no microwave or fridge included, but that didn't spoil my stay. It's right in downtown Fort Smith, within walking distance of great places to eat and music venues. I highly recommend it.

We stayed one night between trips and wished we could've stayed longer. The staff were GREAT and so helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Our room didn't have a mini fridge, but we didn't need one. The trash can had no bags in it. The parking lot is small, though there's free street parking and garage access across the street. The hotel is beautiful, the bar was a nice bonus, and breakfast was delicious. It's rare to find a nice pet-friendly hotel, and this one went above and beyond what we expected. Love Wyndham hotels.

The location is great and the staff are really nice, but the facilities and cleanliness are lacking. They didn't tell us at check-in that the pool was closed for maintenance. Only one elevator works, and there was no sign or mention of that at check-in either. Our room had a stained blanket and lampshades, mold on the window frame and shower grout, and an old coffee pod left in the maker by the previous guests. The furniture in the room and around the hotel feels worn and shabby. It needs a facelift, and we won't be back. The courtyard is much better.
