Beachside Gardens

The place was neat and nicely decorated, and I enjoyed my stay. The instructions were clear, with text updates along the way. I asked about the AC remote and got a quick reply, but still couldn’t find it. There was no soap in the bathroom, the TV had no content unless you signed into your own streaming account, and having to take the trash out was inconvenient and unusual.

The location is great, but the place itself was terrible. The AC kept turning on and off all night, and both the bed and coach were really uncomfortable. It wasn’t cleaned very well either, there was dog hair on the towels. Definitely wouldn’t stay here.

We felt unsafe throughout the stay, and the property management and Airbnb were slow to respond when we contacted them. At 4AM, police woke us while searching the room for a woman reportedly overdosing. Later, a man who seemed under the influence forced his way into our unit, looking for the same woman, and terrified us. After we moved to another unit, it was still unsanitary. The laundry service was broken, and the air conditioner was noisy. A terrible stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere secure and comfortable.

After our flight was delayed the night before, we didn’t arrive to check in until 6 am. We were sent to two rooms that were already occupied and woke the people inside before finally getting into a third room. We never felt safe, since it seemed anyone could walk into our room. We cancelled and went somewhere else, then spent hours emailing and calling to try to get a refund. They refused to give us a full one. The place wasn’t well kept, the pool was extremely dirty, and people were smoking weed right outside our door. The management was very unprofessional, and the place felt like a scam.
