Joshua at the front desk was cheerful, welcoming, and so friendly. He deserves a raise. The place was very clean, and breakfast was really good. We'll stay here again if we're back in the area. Thanks, Joshua! The Smiths.

I've stayed here several times, and the pool only works about half the time. Breakfast is another problem: the person cooking says she gets too hot, so they leave the windows open and the food and room are cold. When I asked housekeeping for fresh towels, she made me wait over five minutes while she finished cleaning a room, even though her cart has a note asking people not to take things from it. That came across as rude and disrespectful. I raised it with the front desk, but they only said sorry. I'm a rewards member and they offered no points or discount. Don't stay here.

Our camper lost power, so we were staying here one day at a time while trying to repair it. We called ahead to book two adults and our poodle at a discounted rate, and we had already told them we had a dog. When the contractor called to ask about a discount, he mentioned the dog too. The desk quoted a pet fee but never said there was a weight limit. On our third extension, they claimed we'd never mentioned having a pet, then charged another $50 in cash for the poodle without putting it on the receipt. I never said I shouldn't pay a pet fee; I thought the discount we'd discussed included him. I wouldn't have been asked how big he was if anyone had told me there was a size restriction. I brought him downstairs the first night to ask for a spoon for the mac and cheese from the vending machine, which tasted rubbery, unlike before. Everyone we met, staff and guests alike, loved him and said he looked like a little teddy bear. He's a poodle and doesn't shed, so the claim about his smell was a flat-out lie. The accusation that we were lying about the dog and the door is what made me angry enough to post this. I'm not lying. It also makes no sense to expect the contractor to know the pet rules. If he called you to request a discount and said we had a dog, I expected that to be included in the fee you quoted. The bathroom door was badly warped; someone had re-screwed the bolt so you could close it only by pushing hard. When we mentioned it at checkout, they tried to blame us. The wood-look floor tiles also had big gaps, and this was supposedly a suite. An employee and another person had a loud hallway conversation on the third night, waking us and making our dog bark, until we reminded them about quiet hours. I tried breakfast all three mornings because I get hungry early, but it was awful. The eggs didn't even taste right, and we couldn't eat them. We were busy trying to fix the camper's electrical system and kept extending in case we couldn't get it working that day, so switching hotels would have taken a lot of effort. There's no explanation for why the dog fee had to be cash, and it isn't on my receipt. As someone who works in hospitality, I'm shocked they don't try to address complaints. Looking through the reviews, we aren't the first to have a bad experience.

I booked several rooms months ahead for family coming to town for an event, but when we arrived, the room arrangements were all messed up. The desk clerk said she couldn't make changes without management, so I contacted management. They emailed that people had a bed and a roof, and should take what they were given or leave. The rooms were dirty, with many smelling of mold or smoke. Floors were grimy, broken in places, and the bathrooms were very dirty.
