A few days after a homeless person came onto my back patio from the pool, I saw a man leaving the pool building at 5 a.m. with all its lights off. I recently moved here, and these incidents have left me extremely displeased with the HOA and management. They know about the issues but are doing nothing, saying the area is public and they can’t control who comes and goes. I asked for video footage for my police report about the man breaking in through the gate, but the apartment complex representatives refuse to provide it. This is a safety issue for me and every other resident, and their response has been very unprofessional.

Since I first posted, the air conditioning in my building’s common areas was turned on within a day or two, and it’s stayed at a very pleasant temperature. I was also offered a parking spot. It costs $50 a month, but in this case I think it’s worth it. Still, it’s surprising that renting a two-bedroom here doesn’t include a guaranteed spot, so keep that in mind when considering this property.

There were six of us for holiday lunch, and we were seated at the back despite there being tables nearer the ocean view. My chicken slid right out of the panini. It was so thick and dry that even cutting it with a knife was difficult. The fries were cold and tasteless, and the iced tea, tax, and tip didn’t make the $30-plus meal worth it, especially with valet parking on top. This is just an ocean-view atmosphere. Eat before you come.
