Best Western Deming Southwest Inn

It doesn’t make much of an impression from outside, but inside the rooms are large, comfortable, and clearly redone recently. The bed was good, breakfast decent, and the indoor spaces very clean. There’s trailer parking, and it’s convenient to I-10. We’d come back.

We missed breakfast this time, but hope to try it on our next visit because we’ll definitely stay again. Check-in was easy thanks to a very helpful, friendly front desk person, and our room was spotless and beautifully updated. After a long drive, it had everything we needed, something we haven’t found at other places lately. The attention to detail makes it clear management cares about guests. The grounds were stunning and extremely well maintained, and the pool area looked lovely too. Deming seems to be making a strong comeback. Happy to see that 😊

The location was good, and the receptionist was pleasant. Getting into the property was a little tricky, but it felt safe and was mostly quiet. We heard a bit of train and traffic noise, along with other guests talking clearly. I’d requested a non-smoking room, but the motel was full and assigned us a smoking one. We were tired, so we stayed. There was hair in the shower, the floor wasn’t especially clean, and breakfast was nothing special and already understocked at 6:45. If you smoke, you may like the place more than I did.

Our room was clean and roomy, with a really comfortable bed. The front desk clerk was very helpful and found us a handicap accessible room. We enjoyed the range of food at the complimentary breakfast. It’s easy to reach as you enter town, though the street entrance was confusing. Signs with arrows would help.
