Three Seasons Resort

The room was fine, though it smelled strongly of cleaning solution. I’d been granted a noon late checkout, but after coming back from a soccer game, I found that our protein bars, fruit, drinks, and leftovers for lunch had all been thrown away. The woman at the front desk said I should be glad they hadn’t charged for late checkout, then offered $20 back for at least $40 worth of food. If they’d just said no to the late checkout, I would have checked out. A very disappointing end to the trip.

The grounds are lovely, and we had a spectacular view. The newer room on our third night was lovely and closer to the ocean. The staff were professional and friendly, helped move our bags, and the air conditioner worked well in that room. It was also a nice touch to have the outdoor bar available. They offered a discount for the inconvenience, and hotel guests do have assigned parking, though the area gets jammed nightly. Still, the management's decision to move us on day three after booking our room for all three nights made a poor start to the vacation. I was there with my 87-year-old mother, and I wasn't happy to be told an event meant our room was booked for someone else. The loud entertainment on the first night was also unexpected when I'd hoped for somewhere quieter. The hotel is very busy, with the Ocean House restaurant as part of it. It's a little pricey, but I recommend it if you don't mind several hours of loud music each night. Apparently, the fine print says they can move you.

The Ocean House Restaurant on site serves good food, though it’s pricey, and the ocean view makes the meal better. The beach itself was underwhelming, with seaweed, rocks, and broken shells, and it seemed like anyone could get to it since no one checked who was a guest. Parking was a free-for-all despite each room having one assigned spot. When someone took ours, staff just said they couldn’t tow the car and told us to park elsewhere. The bathroom was small, and the tub drained so slowly that water pooled during showers. This place is overhyped as a vacation spot.

We booked a wedding block at Three Seasons and couldn't have been happier with it. The location was beautiful, rooms were clean, and the staff were great. Would recommend.
