The whole place had a powerful smell of some kind of cleaner when we arrived, so we asked to cancel. They directed us to Expedia. I called, and Expedia tried several times over the next few days to reach the hotel about my refund, but nobody answered. What a joke. I strongly advise against booking here.

We didn't use the pool. When we went to the pool area with the kids at 8 a.m., there were dirty towels and trash all over, the water looked cloudy and dirty, and the hot tub had foam sitting on top with no jets running. The room wasn't much better: previous guests had left clothes in the closet, one bed's sheets were unclean, and parts of the floor were sticky and dirty. Dead bugs were on the stairs and there was trash in the elevator. The front desk wasn't helpful. They were full, and the man there seemed too busy talking on his cell phone to care or assist. I wouldn't recommend this place.

The bed was comfortable, and the low price made sense for a stay near UNT. But the lemon water in the large container tasted stale. I don't know how long it had been sitting out, but now my stomach is messed up. Bring your own bottled water.

The area felt scary, with homeless people around the building, and I didn't feel safe. I wouldn't bring kids here. Inside, the room felt filthy: dirty shower and chair, stained bed linens, and possibly a two-way mirror. The air conditioner also flooded the floor. The front counter staff weren't helpful, and one man kept speaking only to my husband even while I was talking to him. We didn't stay the night, but they refused to refund us. After being there, I felt like I needed to disinfect everything. So gross. I wish I could give it negative five stars.

The breakfast was awful. The eggs were dark, and the waffle batter was runny. It took a long time for her to replace it and refill the machine, and when we asked for extra items, the staff didn't seem eager to help. There was no customer service at all, and the Wi-Fi was weak. The building looked run down, as did the parking lot, hallways, and elevator. The carts were rusty and old. The shower valve dripped and looked outdated, and the curtain had a big stain. Our room door didn't work well, and the key card wasn't right. They also copied my ID, so who knows where it will end up. The lemon water in the lobby tasted bad and stale. These people shouldn't be running a hotel. We'll never stay there again.
