Fairfield Inn & Suites Flint Fenton

Justin and Michael were especially great. Everyone on staff was friendly and welcoming, and they put us at ease. Justin even made breakfast fun. It's a 3 star Marriott, so you know what to expect: a safe, clean place to bathe and rest while traveling. Breakfast was good, though it doesn't have the latest luxury appliances. A good choice.

Justin made our stay enjoyable while preparing breakfast at Fenton Fairfield Inn. He was the friendliest, most helpful attendant, walking around to greet people and offer help. He insisted I try the spinach quiche, and I'm glad I did. Thanks, Justin!

The property needs significant maintenance, and I can't recommend it for a comfortable or reliable stay at this brand or price. The elevator was hot and humid, with worn surfaces and loose floor tiles. My room's door lock assembly was barely intact and needed maintenance before it worked. Inside, the furniture was deteriorating, there were no USB charging ports, and the bathroom was in poor shape. The bathtub looked unclean and worn, the faulty shower seal let water spray everywhere, and touching the toilet tank caused it to leak and pool water on the floor. The staff were attentive, and every interaction was positive. Justin, who ran breakfast service, deserves special mention for being consistently friendly and going above and beyond. Their service was good, but the state of the facilities overshadowed it. I spent a week at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, and the hotel needs major updates.

It felt overpriced. Service was pretty lousy, and we had to ask for everything, including a suitcase stand and extra towels. There wasn't a microwave, and breakfast was generic.
