Tru by Hilton Charleston Ashley Phosphate

The pancake machine was the coolest thing, you wave your hand and it makes two fresh pancakes right there. Breakfast was really good, too. This was my first stay at a Hilton Tru, and I loved the place. The hotel and our cozy, comfortable room were super clean. The front desk team was so friendly and clearly cared about making sure guests had a good stay. I'm pretty picky about hotels, but I highly recommend this one. It's pretty awesome!

My kids looked forward to seeing Miss V every morning during our Thanksgiving week stay. She was so kind, kept the breakfast area stocked, and made sure the coffee was fresh. She was a real highlight of the visit, and the kids loved the pancakes. One thing housekeeping could improve is leaving enough towels for the number of people in each room. I saw several other guests waiting with me at the front desk to ask for more.

After a noisy first night, the front desk moved my family and me to another room the next day, and they handled it quickly and helpfully. The rest of our stay was comfortable, and we appreciated that. It seemed there was a tournament going on, with kids playing outside my window and in the hallway late into the evening. Quiet hours didn't seem to be enforced. I'd suggest keeping guests away from large groups' floors during events. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was fine, though the waffle maker wasn't working.

Tonya, Melissa, and the housekeepers were all so nice. My room was clean when I arrived and a decent size. This is the best Tru By Hilton I've stayed at, and I was really satisfied. I'd definitely recommend it.
