AC Hotel by Marriott Denver Downtown

I was only here overnight for work. I got in at midnight and was too exhausted to deal with a toilet that wasn’t flushing properly and kept clogging. This morning I called maintenance from my cell because the room phone wasn’t working. Aaron arrived quickly, unclogged the toilet, and showed me how to use the phone. He was professional and sorted everything out fast. He also brought extra towels after needing to use a few of mine. That’s great customer service.

The food was all done just right. I loved the croissant, the steak and eggs, and the pancakes, and everything Vincent recommended was amazing. Vincent was our server, and he was patient and seemed to know what we needed before we asked. He went out of his way to make sure the whole meal was perfect. I really don’t get why this restaurant has a four-star rating. It deserves five.

The staff made my best friend’s birthday stay amazing, and they even sent up a complimentary bottle of prosecco and macaroons ❤️. We had dinner at Ruth Chris’ right across the street, then went to the Union 1 cocktail bar half a block away. Everything was wonderful, and I’d definitely stay here again.

This was a valet issue, not a problem with the hotel service. When we went to retrieve our car, the woman was extremely rude and said she needed “more information.” We gave her our name and valet ticket, but they couldn’t find the keys. Instead of saying that, she acted like it was our fault for not knowing our room number, even though we hadn’t given one when dropping off the car. We waited over an hour. For nearly 30 minutes, we sat at the valet stand without service. Once I realized they couldn’t find the keys, I located them in the stand myself in about 10 seconds. The employee was extremely rude to my wife. It was an absolutely terrible experience and unprofessional.
