Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept, which made what happened at breakfast even more disappointing. When I first entered the restaurant, nobody acknowledged me. After waiting a while, I asked the bartender if I should seat myself. She snapped, “No, just wait there and try to be a little patient.” It felt rude and completely unprofessional. Once seated, I said I was waiting for a friend. About five minutes later they arrived, and after we looked over the menu, we smiled and said we were ready whenever she had a moment, no rush. She replied, “Can’t you see I’m busy right now? Just wait your turn.” Another server took over. She was more professional, but still cold, with none of the warmth or attentiveness I’d expect at a hotel like this. The property is otherwise beautiful, but that breakfast treatment left such a bad impression that I won’t return. I expected much better service.

Charlie and Karla made check-in and the whole stay so much better. The service was quick and immaculate, and they made everything feel comfortable, easy, and flawless. The location is PRIME! I’d definitely recommend the hotel for the service alone. Thanks to the team.

The financial district location is good, with Target, Ross, and restaurants an easy walk away. The streets weren’t very busy, though the area didn’t seem to have much of a nighttime vibe. My room was roomy, and the bed was really comfortable. The sensor lights were handy when I got up during the night. First time I’ve seen a dry bar hair dryer in a hotel!

Hyatt Centric Downtown Denver is in a handy central spot for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly, professional, and eager to help. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with what I needed for a comfortable stay. Great hotel, and I’d happily stay again.
