Comfort Inn Lancaster County North

I’m a trucker and recommend this hotel for its clean rooms, friendly staff, and convenient truck lot for hotel guests only. It’s just off the highway and has a fitness room and indoor pool, so it’s a good place to stay for however many nights you need. Be careful getting to the lot, though, because the turns are tight. With a trailer over 53' long, use caution. If you’re hauling cars and need a tight turn, you have to kind of U-turn into the hotel, which could cause an overturn and damage to the vehicles.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. Staff were super friendly, and breakfast was great with a nice variety. If antiques are your thing, there are lots of places within 5 minutes of each other.

Friday the 28th, at 615, the woman at the desk was rude and unprofessional while I was checking in. She charged my account twice, then acted like it was my fault and didn’t know how to fix it. She called a manager, I guess, but basically told me I’d have to contact my bank to sort it out.

My Mom and I stayed here in August, and it worked out well for what we needed. It was convenient, right by the highway, and I felt comfortable there. There were families around, and even a craft organization holding a weekend event. I decided to leave a review because the atmosphere felt positive and not spooky like some hotels. Thanks to the staff who run and maintain the place. It’s no Ritz, and the decor is a bit dated and could use some freshening up. We appreciated the value and convenience, though, so it suited us.
