Ember Hostel

I usually stay in hotels, so I don't know hostels very well. I was looking for a cheaper place and found this one online. The good reviews convinced me to try it, and I'm glad I did. The hostel is clean, and the staff are polite and very friendly. There's always someone at the front door, and you need a keycard to enter the building and again to get into your room, so I felt completely secure. Apart from maybe the occasional strange local, the other guests were all very nice. I'd highly recommend it. Even if you're not watching your budget, a hostel can be an interesting experience in itself.

Ember's location is central, and the house is clean with great service. I used the tea station, full kitchen, laundry, plenty of bathrooms, and the bunks' privacy curtains regularly. I've stayed in a lot of hostels over the years, and this one is by far the best. If you want a top-notch hostel experience in Denver, this is the place.

My flight was canceled and I ended up rerouted to Denver, so I was glad I had researched hostels in the area and picked Ember. I had a great two days there. Check-in was seamless, and Calum at the front desk went above and beyond to make my stay good. He was quick to answer my questions and gave me some terrific local recommendations. The location impressed me too: public transportation was only a few stops away, and I could visit all parts of Denver. I always felt safe. The hostel was very clean and beautifully decorated, and the hot shower was amazing. I even made a home-cooked meal in the kitchen with food from Trader Joe's a few blocks away. Thanks, Ember, for a lovely stay. I'll definitely return!

This was my first hostel stay, and thankfully it was a great experience. The place was clean and well kept, with a nice outdoor area, a 24-hour fire pit, and a jacuzzi open until late. Hostel Manager Leon and the staff I remember, Ricky, Ethan, and Lakshay, were warm, welcoming, and down to earth. If I'm back in Denver, I'll stay here again. Highly recommend!
