Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown by IHG

Justina made my stay comfortable and memorable, and everything went smoothly because she was so attentive. She's efficient, thoughtful, always welcoming, and greeted me with a warm smile. From the moment I arrived, her kindness and professionalism made me feel valued. You can tell she cares about guests and goes beyond simply doing her job. Her service is the kind others in hospitality aim for but rarely deliver. Thank you, Justina, for such a wonderful stay.

Gianni made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived at the Holiday Inn Express in downtown Denver. He explained everything clearly and was informative, welcoming, and genuinely kind. He clearly knows his job, but what stood out most was how much he cared about making our visit a good one. His professionalism and positive energy shaped the whole experience. We're grateful for his hospitality. He's a real asset to the hotel.

The only good parts were that the front desk staff were friendly and breakfast was decent. The room was so cold we needed two space heaters just to make it tolerable. We waited two hours after the first request, then called again and got no result, so I went to the desk myself to pick one up. We also asked for an extra blanket and were told it would be brought to the room, but it was left at the door sometime overnight and we didn't find it until morning. For some reason, hotel policy now means there are no cups or coffee pot in the room. I had to go to the dining area just to get a cup for my soft drink. The sheets were stained too. I know Express is an economy option, but I've had better service at Motel 6.

The valet was quick and really nice, but I wasn't happy with the hotel overall and wouldn't stay again. The room was small and poorly maintained. There was a bucket of water outside our door when we arrived, the shower leaked, and the toilet was rusty. It was 78 degrees inside, and guests can't control the thermostat. At check-in they said to call if we wanted it adjusted, so we did. A very nice maintenance guy brought a box fan and turned off the heater. Their “central air” solution for a hot room was a fan.
