Limelight Hotel Denver

Our corner room on the seventh floor was very comfortable, with great views, a comfy bed, and a huge shower with strong water pressure, plus a soaking tub. We enjoyed the food at Ajax, especially the fried potatoes and sausage at brunch. The lobby coffee machine is free and has plenty of choices, including lattes, cappuccinos, and hot chocolate. Service was impeccable from my call that day about parking and early arrival through check-in, the stay, and checkout. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. We booked with Chase “The Edit” and got all the listed extras: a room upgrade, welcome drink, Perrier and snacks delivered to the room, and a $100 property credit. That covered our $64 valet for one night, which is a bit pricey, as you'd expect at a high-end downtown hotel. We also had $60 for breakfast or brunch, which was just right. Great spot right by Union Station. Definitely recommend.

For anyone flying through Denver airport, this is a convenient place to stay, just steps from Union Station and the very affordable train that runs back and forth. The rooms were great, everything was in excellent condition, and as of late 2025 it all felt very new. There’s a nice little restaurant and bar on site, and the front desk folks were friendly. I had a great stay, have no complaints, and would absolutely come back.

I came to Denver for my master’s graduation from the University of Northern Colorado and chose to stay here instead of in Greenly, where the school is. I used my platinum Amex, and it was a good stay overall. The $60 daily breakfast and lunch credit could be used until 2 pm, which meant I could sleep in and still use it in the afternoon. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed dinner here as well as brunch. The lobby had a complimentary coffee and hot chocolate machine, but a worker broke it on our second day. The front desk clerk gave me hot chocolate powder and hot water, which was disappointing but fine. Staff were friendly for the most part. They upgraded my room, and we had a beautiful view of the train station. Valet felt overpriced at $64 a night. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a room with two queen beds and a bathtub. My one-year-old had to shower with me instead.

The hotel has a really nice vibe, from the relaxing, inviting lobby to staff who were friendly and seemed happy. I enjoyed the free coffee, and my room was very nice. Its soaking tub was one of the deepest and most relaxing I’ve tried. It was convenient to walk to lots of great places or eat at the delicious restaurant right there. I highly recommend it for a downtown Denver stay, especially if you have The Edit benefits.
