Staybridge Suites Denver International Airport by IHG

We had six people on a family trip and there was room for everyone in our suite. It had two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a sofa that turned into a bed. The kitchen was fully set up with a full size fridge, pots and pans, plates, cups, a mixing bowl, and utensils. My family especially enjoyed the patio, with its three gas grills and a setup for making smores. There’s also free laundry, and you can borrow baskets from the closets. Breakfast had lots of variety each morning, and the service was great. They really thought of everything. Best hotel stay ever, and we’ll definitely be back.

We stayed here once before, in April 2025, and it was quiet, had plenty of space, and parking was free. Returning in November 2025 was a very different experience. At check-in, we learned parking now cost $15 a day. Since we only needed a short overnight stay, that didn’t feel justified. I only found out afterward that there was a decent amount of free street parking nearby. By then, I’d already felt pressured into using a third party parking site. The rooms are just okay, nothing special, and breakfast is sub par. I wish things hadn’t changed so much since earlier in the year. I won’t stay again.

The weekday evening get-together, Mon-Wed?, had hot and cold pub-style food, wine, beer, and soft drinks for guests. Breakfast was wonderful too, with plenty of choices, and the staff greeted us with friendly smiles. Our king suite was quiet and comfortable, with a good bed, kitchenette that had everything we needed, and a small living area. The hotel was modern, well appointed, and packed with amenities. It felt safe and calm, was only 10 min from Denver airport, and had an airport shuttle, though you need to call for pick-up and/or reserve airport transport. There’s good WiFi, a gym, an indoor pool, and an outdoor space with loungers and a BBQ area. What a pleasant surprise for an airport hotel.

The included taco night and breakfast were both very nice, and the people were pleasant. I also appreciated the free airport ride and fair prices. My overnight stay started out great, but I left tired because the shower barely got me wet. I had to run around in it for 20 minutes to get water. Why install shower heads with such limited coverage? Trying to save the world? Bad choice.
