Parsippany Inn and Suites Morris Plains

We found a slice of pizza under the bed after my husband got down to fix one of its broken legs. The room was dirty, with mold around the shower, no towels for a room that sleeps four, and not even a box of tissues in the bathroom. When I complained about the food and the lack of cleanliness, the front desk guy came back with a smart a$$ remark. Service was mediocre at best, some staff were very rude, and we also had a broken bed leg. I was born and raised in Denville,NJ, and on our recent trip last Wed and Thur I’d never seen such rudeness or crack house like conditions in the area. We’ll never stay there again. Spend the extra $$ at one of the other larger area named hotels for a clean room.

My stay wasn't bad, and the room was fairly clean, but I've stayed in better places for the same money. The ice machine was broken while I was there, so I had to go next door to the gas station convince store to buy ice. Later I wanted a shower and found shampoo but no soap. Maybe your experience will be better than mine if you give it a shot. I'm not saying this is a crappy hotel at all.

My room looked shocking, with years' worth of grime and filth. There was mold and mildew everywhere, peeling wallpaper, and hair; the toilet seat had a black substance on it, maybe mold. The curtains had holes all over them, moths? The whole place was dingy and extremely rundown, and the rooms reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Do NOT stay here!!!!

They charged me $85.00, and after I tried to get a refund for the first room, they showed me two more in hopes I’d stay. I felt exposed by the two doors in each room, one to the parking lot and one to a hallway, especially given their condition. In the first room, the parking-lot door didn't close tightly and was missing trim. The nails had been bent before being hammered flush, then painted over. Light and noise came in under the hallway door. There wasn't a desk, and I found hair on my pillow. They asked for ideas to improve the place, but I felt like anything I said would insult them. The room attendant was very creepy.
