Comfort Inn Airport

We’ll make this our go-to hotel in Des Moines. The free airport shuttle runs 24/7, which was great, and breakfast had a terrific selection of hot and cold options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel was very affordable. We also enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The front desk hostess was friendly and really helpful, and the whole staff was welcoming. Most spoke both English and Spanish.

For a night before an early flight, this was exactly what I needed. The airport is so close that the morning was stress-free, and it felt like good value for the price. Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with a solid bed and A/C that worked great. Everything seemed well maintained. I’d stay here again as an easy, dependable option near DSM.

The real highlight was the service at the front desk. As a traveling nurse who’s stayed in plenty of places, I can say they treated us like family. Customer service was superb. The rooms were decent and clean, too, and the location is handy, across the street from the airport with lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

I’m giving them five stars. The room was great, the fridge was cold, and both the hot water and heat worked well. Breakfast was good, too. What really stood out was getting my 1 caret wedding ring back. I’d left it on the bathroom counter while heading home to another state, but we called before the room was cleaned and they returned it. That honesty makes me want to stay here again.
