I’ve lived here about nine months and have been in a lot of apartments, so maybe I’m fussy, but I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could. The location is the main reason we moved here: lots of good places and a grocery store are easy to reach on foot. Our bedrooms have good space and closets, the in-unit laundry is great, and the balcony is a nice size. The leasing manager and maintenance respond quickly when you contact them. After I posted yesterday, they cleaned the pool and it’s sparkling now. See, they do respond! The staff are great, but the amenities aren’t kept up consistently. The pool often has mildew, the pool table needs new felt and isn’t level, and the coffee machine regularly stops working. The inner dog-run gates don’t close properly, a stairwell light is always burned out, and courtyard sidewalks weren’t cleared or salted regularly in winter. Some small problems were already there when we moved in too: a broken bathroom drain plug, broken toilet paper rod, hair clogs, and a burned-out fridge light. Seems like they may need another maintenance person to keep on top of things and match the “luxury” label.
