Wyndham Chicago O'Hare

I’m part of a flight crew based here, and when I stay before work the next day, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. Martin, the shuttle driver, is kind and helpful every time. He takes care of my luggage and brings it inside, which makes check-in quick. Wyndham should give its employees a raise. Tip the drivers too, they carry heavy bags and provide a real service.

The carpet in our room was awful, sticky, and clearly needed replacing a while ago. It was really disgusting, and Wyndham can do better. The bed was comfortable and the room looked clean otherwise. The employees we met were very nice and helpful, and the shuttle drivers were on time, friendly, and helpful too.

I left my sandals behind by accident and told them when I’d be back, since we’d paid to use their parking. When we returned, nobody answered or opened the door for almost 10 minutes, so I had to call the sales number to get a response. The man who finally came said no one had told him and he couldn’t access lost and found. We’re rarely in Chicago, and they ended up keeping my property. The beds and pillows were hard, customer service was rude, and there was no ride back from the airport because their shuttle hours are limited. The whole experience was terrible. I’ll never go back, and they’ve lost my business.

A handy choice for early departures or late arrivals at Ohare, with clean rooms, comfortable beds, shops and restaurants nearby, and a quick ride to the airport. I’d use the Park, Sleep, Fly option again. The bathtub was very slippery and felt unsafe, though, and the airport shuttles stop too early, at 11:30. Our flight arrived after midnight, so we had to pay for a ride back. Free breakfast would also be a nice addition.
