Onsen Hotel & Spa

We felt right at home here. The hotel is clean, smells fresh, and serves a delicious breakfast. It’s pet friendly, the service is very nice, and they take care of everything without trouble. They make guests feel noticed and appreciated. I’ll come back more often, and recommend it to anyone who wants to feel good about what they spent.

Check-in staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and roomy, the grounds were tidy, and breakfast was included and nice. My husband and I both woke with neck aches because the king bed had four tall pillows. Two tall and two low pillows would have made the stay perfect for us. That’s just our personal preference, though, and it wouldn’t stop me recommending the place.

The rooms were surprisingly clean, especially for this price. I travel a lot, and it’s rare to find that standard at this price point. Staff were professional and organized, with everything ready on time and no issues. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, better than I expected. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Andy at the front desk was great, friendly, and very helpful. The hotel is good for the price, and the room was very big, but the layout was poor. There was just one chair that wasn’t a club chair, and it was uncomfortable for the two of us. By the pool, there were only lounge chairs, no regular tables and chairs. The pool was too cold to swim in. It’s about 20 minutes from Palm Springs, and Desert Hot Springs is not a nice area, kind of sketchy.
