Our suite had a private soaking tub, which I highly recommend. I loved the shower head and temperature control, too. It was hard to leave the room to explore. We ate fresh, yummy food, and I had the best massage I’ve had so far. The duck pond was my favorite place to tan. We had such a relaxing couples weekend at Two Bunch Palms. From the moment we arrived, everyone greeted us warmly with happy, friendly faces, and the staff were so nice and helpful. The property is beautiful. I’m looking forward to making this an annual trip to relax and reset. Thank you, Two Bunch Palms!
The place is gorgeous, and the idea of a calm oasis centered on health and wellness is lovely. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were kind, timely, and wonderful. But after we left, I checked the invoice and found duplicate charges for the room, which I’d already paid for, along with additional daily fees that hadn’t been disclosed beforehand and didn’t seem logical given the services and charges. It’s disappointing to see the place managed with what feels like money-hungry goals.
The water is divine, and the place feels thoughtfully put together, from every object and view to every person. One of the best hotels and hot springs I’ve ever visited. Completely worth it.
We had a wonderful anniversary stay here about a year ago, but the experience trying to arrange a wedding buyout was entirely unprofessional. We will never stay again or recommend the hotel, which is sad because we used to recommend it all the time. I shouldn’t have to beg a venue to buy out its hotel. I hope the owners see this and make changes to the events team. A few months ago I asked the receptionist about a full property buyout and gave her our information. She said someone would call, but nobody did, so I followed up. I spoke with the event manager, who said she wouldn’t be in the office Friday. She scheduled a tour with the events manager who would be on site that day and said she’d confirm it. We drove to Palm Springs a day early for the tour. The event manager still hadn’t contacted us, so I called the day before the scheduled visit and reached her by phone. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She said she couldn’t do the tour and didn’t apologize. I told her she should have let us know she couldn’t keep the commitment. When I asked to set up another tour, she said I had to email. I sent an inquiry, and Lilia replied with an autogenerated email. I responded with all our information and asked for a quote, but got no reply. I followed up a month later and still heard nothing.
The resort is quiet, with no kids allowed, and the grounds are expansive and beautiful. There are lush tropical and local plants, ponds, streams of hot natural springs, plenty of natural features to walk around and enjoy, hot spring tubs, and a full grotto pool. The rooms are nice but aging. Some parts need improvement, though overall we had a wonderful experience. Dining is one of the weak spots. The menu is poor and has been cut back and changed over the years, leaving few options. The resort is far from other places to eat, and the rooms don’t have space to store your own food, so guests are pushed toward the resort restaurants. They really need to update and expand the menu. Parking is difficult unless you’re in certain rooms. Otherwise, you have to use the guest lot, which is a long way from your room and looks like a construction site.
