We left and found another hotel nearby after one night. The main reason was the visible bloodstains on the side of the box spring cover and sideboard. Realizing we'd slept in that bed was shocking and left my spouse and me deeply uneasy. It badly undermined our trust in the room's cleanliness and interrupted our stay. Other details added to the impression of neglect: the carpet looked dirty and uncared for, and my spouse found strands of hair on the bathroom toilet. Even the breakfast coffee was undrinkable. The dispenser gave me coffee grounds mixed with a little water, suggesting the facilities weren't being maintained. These weren't minor inconveniences; they affected our comfort and peace of mind, and weren't what I expected from a Hilton property.

Caraway made check-in feel warm and was so helpful throughout my stay. The hotel was quiet and spotless, and I enjoyed the good breakfast and excellent service. Thanks for a delightful visit.

I wouldn't stay here again. The location has plenty of places to eat, but you'd need a ride to reach them, and the surrounding traffic is full of impatient drivers. For less money, La Quinta gives you basically the same experience. The main extras here over other two-star hotels are the pool and workout room, so if those don't matter to you, I'd choose a cheaper place. This was the worst Hampton Inn I've visited, even though the room was almost like the others. It was clean, but the pillows were awful and shower pressure was mediocre. One door at the west exit was broken off, leaving a way for bugs and wasps to get in. Wifi was very slow unless you paid for a faster connection. The front desk coffee was often empty or lukewarm to cold, and nobody seemed to be tending it. There was no cold water dispenser outside the workout room. Breakfast was much like La Quinta Inn: no bacon, mediocre scrambled eggs, round sausage patties and potatoes. The drink dispensers only gave water, with no orange or apple juice. It all felt short on attention to detail.

When I was in serious need, the hotel staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to help me. I'm grateful this was the hotel we ended up choosing. They did an exceptional job.
