The front desk woman was the only positive thing about the place. She was really helpful and as accommodating as she could be. There seemed to be many long-term residents. Room doors were often left open, which felt weird and uncomfortable to walk past, and lots of people were hanging around the parking lot late at night. Our own door wouldn’t lock from the outside when shut, so we had to use the extra lock. We were only there for one night on the way to a trip, but wouldn’t return even for one night. I don’t recommend this place if you have kids.

I updated my review because I would NOT stay here again. The location’s official website says a breakfast item is free, but they didn’t honor that. He could have honored it and chose not to. Facts matter. Why stay somewhere that advertises something it won’t provide? Clickbait!

My first night was ruined by how the overnight staff member treated me. I’d left my key in the room, so I knocked and rang the bell at the night window. After about ten rings, a woman came out looking as if she’d just woken up and already seemed in a terrible mood. I explained what happened, but she interrupted and insisted I was smoking. There was a man smoking about 20 feet away, but she said she smelled it on me and asked if I could read the no-smoking sign. I thought it meant no smoking in the rooms. She charged me a $100 deposit just to let me back into my room. I rarely take vacations and was excited to enjoy the hotel, but this felt like I’d committed a crime. I’ll never stay at another Days Inn if this is who they choose for overnight guest assistance. Worst experience ever.

After more than 15 years staying at Wyndhams, I’ve never had an experience like this. I paid for a room but couldn’t stay there, and had to go across the street to a cheaper motel that was WAY better. I’m very disappointed and won’t use Wyndhams anymore. I thought they had some of the best places for the price.
