We only stopped because a storm made it hard to keep driving home, and the young woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. She found us a room at the last minute, which we appreciated. But it was pricey for one night given how run down the place was. The lobby wasn't too bad, but the room was dated and smelled awful. There were stains on the bathroom sink, dirt on the floor, old filthy carpet, and disgusting cushions on the bench and chairs. When I pulled back the sheets, something crawled on the bed. I first thought it was a bed bug, but it was a spider. That still creeped us out, and after that I couldn't sleep. I stayed awake to watch for more bugs and keep an eye on my kids. We might have been better off sleeping in the car until the storm passed. I didn't want to worry the kids, though, so I stuck it out so they could sleep before we got back on the road to NY. I wouldn't stay here again.

I've been here a few times over the years, so I have a good sense of how consistent it is. The place is great, and staff are always friendly. If something goes wrong, they fix it quickly. Special thanks to Diva. The rooms are clean, the grounds are well kept, and it doesn't feel run down. I like the vibe of the guests and the location is amazing, close to i81, every store you can think of, and a mall. My stays have been quiet, and online check-in makes things really convenient. For what you get, it's the best price in the area. I almost want to keep this spot secret, but people should know how good it is.

The beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The staff were kind and easygoing, so I don't want to take off too many stars, even though I usually like microtels for their big breakfasts and lots of choices. Here the breakfast was very limited for gluten options, with no meat, nothing cooked except boiled eggs, and not even non-dairy creamer. The room had no lamps or USB outlets, and the bright 90s decor made it feel like a college dorm. Not much of a romantic spot.

For $100 a night, I feel ripped off. The shower ran out of hot water and went cold, and breakfast was minimal. The waffle irons were turned on, but there was no batter. The hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, but the speeds were only 1-2Mbps. My tests showed 0.74, 1.29, and 1.55. You also have to sign up for their rewards program to use it, and faster internet costs an extra $5 per day.

We'd been without power for 36 hours at home nearby, so we booked a room and were grateful for a warm, cozy place. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and spacious. Coffee and continental breakfast were great, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend this inn. Thank you.
