Super 8 by Wyndham Dilley TX

I’ve stayed here before, but this was the worst visit I’ve had, and I don’t want to return. The rooms looked clean at first, though both the carpet and tile floors were dirty. The breakfast area and lobby seemed okay for cleanliness, but the whole area smelled awful, like mothballs mixed with something else. They didn’t serve breakfast. Maybe they switched on the waffle machine, but I didn’t check. The check-in woman spent time in a back room instead of at the counter and wasn’t dressed professionally. The man there in the morning was no better. I guess he was asleep in the back room. His T-shirt was dirty and wrinkled, his gym shorts were loose, and his hair was a mess. Neither gave a smile or a warm welcome, and neither wore a uniform or hotel-related clothes. This place has really lost its value, in my opinion.

The room was clean, but in 209 the TV remote didn’t work and the lamps weren’t working either. They really need to work on the room maintenance.

Breakfast was frozen burritos and sausage biscuits. The towels looked dirty, and they came out like sand. The stay was alright.

Coming back from work, our rooms were always clean, and housekeeping did an outstanding job. The rooms were great and had a mini kitchen for cooking. Everything was nice and clean. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, absolutely amazing 🤩
