The staff were friendly, but we left after seeing two rooms. Both felt dirty and poorly maintained, and the whole place seemed to smell of smoke and weed. The carpet was dirty, the refrigerator had a used Coke bottle and salad dressings inside, and there were strange red marks on the sheets. I felt unsafe and worried about catching lice or some other illness. I would not recommend staying here.

After a few minutes in the second room, a roach came out when I went to heat some food, so we didn't eat. We saw two more during our stay. The carpet looked ancient and like it hadn't been cleaned in years. In that room, two drawers were missing from the stand, the luggage rack was bent downward, the air and heat unit was hooked up oddly, the sink had no stopper, and the shower knobs were rusty. The lights weren't working properly there either. In the first room, none of the lights worked, and the carpet looked very old. We accepted the second room because of the hurricane weather. We paid $75, and at checkout they gave us only a $10 credit. This was a horrible experience, and I can't suggest anyone stay here.

The bathroom in the replacement room hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. The bathtub was so disgusting it turned my stomach when I saw it early in the morning. We had asked to move because room 101 was awful, and the next one was a little better, but still had that problem. Room 101 smelled bad, had missing patches of ceiling paint, poorly patched holes in the walls, and a spot where leaking water had bubbled the paint. It looked nothing like the ad. Never again.

I was wary after reading the reviews, but the stay ended up being nice. The room was really clean, the people there were friendly, and the price was great: $40 for one night. It is a bit dated, and some TV channels come in fuzzy. The pool wasn't open and had no water in it. Still, I'd stay again if I came through.

We regretted choosing this place for one night during a longer road trip. It seems to have fallen into disarray. Our room was uncomfortable and not clean, the beds were uncomfortable, and the linens and towels looked like they needed replacing after too many washes. The bathroom felt more like a public restroom. We also had to kill all sorts of bugs during the stay, and were very glad to leave.
