The room was nice, but the heat never worked properly and the shower only got lukewarm. The front desk staff couldn’t, or didn’t know how to, adjust the thermostat, so they gave us another blanket instead. Breakfast was okay. It should be much better once the renovation is finished.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I found the staff unprofessional and unpleasant, and the housekeeping staff inappropriate. I also believe the rooms have bedbugs, and wouldn’t risk bringing them home. Staff weren’t dressed or acting professionally, and they were never available at the front desk. I’ve never stayed somewhere this awful when there are perfectly good hotels in the area.
The room my sister and her family got faced the pool, and kids screaming there kept them awake all night. At least it was reasonably clean, but this is no way to treat a customer. I paid for a suite for my sister, brother-in-law, and their four children to visit Dixon on February 14. It was meant to have two queen beds and a queen pullout sofa bed. When they arrived, the hotel said it couldn’t find their room and put all six of them in a standard room with two queen beds. They wouldn’t provide adjoining rooms or otherwise make up for it. They also refused a discount because the manager was off duty. Even after my sister showed the receipt with the price, staff said they didn’t know what she’d been charged or how to discount it. When she asked for a rollaway cot, they tried to charge extra.
The kitchenette had no glasses, silverware, or pans, and there weren’t even floor towels in the bathroom. The plumbing is backwards, and the rooms have major issues. I know they’re spending money on the place, but they need to finish an area before guests paying full rates have to see this. It feels like a slumlord-owned and operated property. Fire the contractor.
I arrived to find a broken lock, a musty smell, and yellow stains on the sheets. There was also heavy construction going on, which I hadn’t been told about before booking. When I reported the room, the front desk said there weren’t any other rooms that fit my request and that they’d send maintenance, but that didn’t solve the problem. I ended up booking another hotel, which was much nicer and cheaper than the Quality Inn. I was there for a wedding and couldn’t return during normal business hours to speak with a manager about a refund. When I went back on Sunday, I left my contact details after being told the manager would get back to me. I still haven’t heard anything or received a refund. I wouldn’t advise booking here.
