The housekeepers are lovely, and the two men in the office are so kind and accommodating. They make me smile and feel at home every time I stay, treating me like family. I really love this locally owned place and recommend it as a home away from home.

The water is barely lukewarm even when the hot tap is turned all the way up, and that only lasts about a minute before it goes cold. I've never had worse shower temperatures at a motel, day or night. I could have given this place four or five stars, but I can't stand not being able to take a hot shower. Raise the water heater thermostat or fix the problem and I'll keep staying here when I'm in town. Otherwise, I'm not coming back. Sorry.

I had to stop overnight in Victoria, Texas, because of an emergency. Coming from Laredo, I didn't know the area, but I'm glad I chose this place. The service was great, and the room was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. I'll stay here again when I'm back.

The price was great, but there were dirty sheets and a huge dead rat in the room in the morning. Staff laughed and said they were infested, as if this was normal. They didn't offer a refund or discount. I guess you get what you pay for.
