Crossroads Inn & Suites

Friendly, accommodating staff and well-lit parking made for a good visit. The room was clean, but the furniture and TV were dated. There was no coffee, USB plug, or clock, and the bath towels and face cloths were thin. All-inclusive. Three stars.

The room was spacious and clean, and we got a single room for the price of a double. It had a kitchenette and was near Walmart. Staff were friendly, and there were no bugs. The bed creaked a lot, and I thought it was a little odd that neither the mattress nor the pillows had plastic covers.

We moved here after Hurricane Harvey and have been living at this motel since. The bedrooms are fine, payment is good, and room service is good, though the sink is a bit small. Service here sucks, so watch out. Even so, Crossroads Inns and Suites is a good motel to stay at.

The staff were nice, but the room didn't look like the online photos, and I left about an hour after arriving. I was traveling alone to see a friend in Victoria, and there were lots of sketchy people, including some sitting outside their rooms. The room never cooled down, the door looked like someone had kicked it in, the smoke detector was missing from where it should have been, and there was no AC vent in the bathroom. The shower had mildew. After eating dinner in the room, I decided to leave. I told the staff member it wasn't cooling and asked for my money back. He offered another room, but I couldn't see how it would be any better.
