Motel 6 Dixon, CA

The rooms are spacious and clean, though the single queen rooms are small. Everyone at the front desk is very nice and will accommodate you when they can. They put out fresh coffee in the morning, which is nice when you’re heading out.

I’m an OTR driver and appreciate that they allow Big Rigs to park roadside with a parking permit. Getting in and out is easy, and we love stopping here on our travels. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean, with a microwave and fridge. There are lots of food and grocery options within walking distance. Fantastic.

Lauren made this stop especially good. We had trouble with the keycards and AC, and she sorted both out quickly while handling the front desk and helping us on the third floor. She made us feel welcome and helped us find a room we really liked. Please give her a raise, Motel 6. She puts everything into her work and was a pleasure to talk to. After a ten-hour drive to Vacaville, we spent the night nearby. The room was great for the price, and the motel was well kept. It’s close to restaurants and shops, with a Safeway within walking distance. Pets stay free. We enjoyed the break from the road and will stop here again. Thanks, Lauren, you’re the best!

I paid close to $125 a day, but the room and facilities weren’t being maintained. There was urine in the toilet when I arrived, the place was dirty and needed new carpet, the hot tub and ice machine didn’t work, and the TV kept losing signal, so I had no TV for all three days. At that price I expected a clean room, a clean toilet, a working TV, and a working hot tub. I think they need to fix things and charge closer to $70 until the hotel is worth $125. Having a roof over your head isn’t enough to justify the rate.
