It was a good price, and I had free parking during my stay. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was a microwave and fridge. Staff were helpful and kind. The place is a little run down, like many hotels of this age and type, and the walls are thin. My coworkers had a less impressive stay at a more expensive hotel. It’s right off the highway, with shops, food, and some services within walking distance. Downtown and the riverwalk are less than two miles away.

Just on customer service, I’d give this hotel or motel five stars. I travel a lot and have worked in hotels and motels, and this place is top notch.

I booked a room online for one of our truckers after calling the front desk to confirm they had space for our very tired driver. The person we spoke with quoted the price, but nobody mentioned an extra $30 for early check-in or a $50 deposit. When our driver arrived, those charges brought the total to almost $120. Sam really needs to explain all the costs to customers. Our trucking company won’t do business with this hotel again.

The bed and pillows were very good. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, no matter how hard I tried to connect with my phone. The shower knob was falling apart, and I had to fix it to take a shower.
