We were in town for a family emergency and got there around 1 or 2 a.m. after a nine-hour drive. The heater worked, but we were freezing and uncomfortable. The first room smelled of mildew and smoke, was filthy, and had no latch, so we had to work out how to lock it. We asked for another room after about ten minutes and were moved next door. It smelled better at first, but the sheets were stained with who knows what, the door was broken, there was mold in the bathroom, the toilet paper had already been touched and wasn't wrapped, and there were no towels or rags. Both tubs were nasty. There's a party hall right next door, so don't come on a weekend if you want quiet. Cops and junkies were everywhere. We slept on top of everything with a blanket from home so the sheets wouldn't touch us. It was so late that we didn't have another option, though we would have left otherwise. Bring your own blankets, towels, toilet paper, everything. The next morning, the man at the desk was as sweet as pie and gave us half off, so I give the service a 3. Still, I'd never come back.
