We'd driven nine hours because of a family emergency, so arriving around 1 or 2 in the morning, we checked in despite the state of the place. The first room reeked of mildew and smoke, was filthy, and didn't have a latch. We couldn't figure out how to secure it properly. There were cops and people using drugs around the property. After about ten minutes, I asked for another room, and they put us right next door. That room smelled better, but the sheets were badly stained, the bathroom had mold, the toilet paper had already been handled and wasn't wrapped, and there were no towels or washcloths. Both tubs were nasty, and the door was broken too. A party hall next door means weekends aren't peaceful. We slept on top of everything using a blanket from home so we wouldn't touch the sheets. The heater worked, but we were still cold and uncomfortable. It was so late that we didn't feel we had another option. Bring your own blankets, towels, toilet paper, everything. I gave service three stars because the man at the desk the next morning was very sweet and gave us half off. I still wouldn't come back.
