AmericInn by Wyndham Dodgeville

I’ve stayed here several times and keep looking forward to coming back to Dodgeville. The staff are helpful and friendly, and housekeeping refreshes the comfortable, clean rooms every day. Breakfast has waffles, pastries, cereal, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bananas, and coffee. The pool and hot tub are clean and work well for adults and kids, with pleasantly warm pool water. I’d definitely recommend it.

I’d come back here. It was probably the best Americinn we’ve stayed at, and it looked recently remodeled. Breakfast was basic but everything looked very clean. The hot tub seemed a little rusty, though I understand the soil and water around here may be like that.

We spent a long weekend here and found it clean, quiet, and handy for exploring the area. The staff were friendly, and the hot breakfast included eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, juice, and more. My only real problem was the Wi-Fi. It connected at a reasonable speed, but seemed to drop every hour or so, and getting back to the sign-in page took about 30 minutes each time. That could be frustrating if you're streaming music or using a computer or tablet. Without that, I’d have rated it five stars.

The staff were so friendly, and it was nice that the hotel welcomes dogs. After visiting House on the Rock, we found the location convenient, with restaurants nearby. Our very clean room had a bed that was SO COMFORTABLE, and we slept well without hearing outside noise. The warm pool and hot tub were great. Breakfast was included and had fresh coffee with lots of creamers, eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, toast, bagels, waffles, Quaker Oats oatmeal packets, apple and orange juice, cereals, pastries, yogurt, and other items. We didn’t take photos, but trust me, it was GREAT.
