My partner had decorated the room for Valentine's Day, but the hotel made us move because of a plumbing issue, and all of that went to waste. The replacement options didn't give me what I'd booked. One was a two-queen room, not the large king I wanted, and its blue LED lights didn't work. The other was a king suite without a jacuzzi. I had reserved a king room with a jacuzzi about a month ahead. They said we could stay in the original room, but couldn't use its bathroom, so we had no real choice but to move. We'd arrived closer to 4 PM for a 3 PM check-in on 2/14-2/15, but the worker said our room wasn't ready. The only rooms available weren't the ones I'd booked, so I had to start getting ready in the lobby. We waited about 35 minutes for a room, which made us late for dinner reservations. After dinner, I got a call saying we had to move. I've stayed here before and recommended it to friends, so I'm really disappointed. I didn't get what I paid for, and it negatively affected my Valentine's Day. The worker said she'd spoken to the manager, but there wasn't a manager available at checkout. I couldn't wait the 15 minutes they said it would take for the manager to come in. They said I'd get a call, but I haven't. I've called multiple times and emailed many times. Nobody answered except once, and the manager still hasn't gotten back to me. It's now Thursday. Customer relations gave me 11,000 Best Western points, but I don't think that makes up for what happened.

Decent location, and some of the other people who work here seemed nice enough. Otherwise, I'm sure it's great? My room was only 52 degrees so far, half the outlets don't work, and the ceiling exhaust fan leaked water on my head. The window looked onto a yard with a gate open to the street, about 10 feet away and at eye level. When I raised the security concern, the front desk attendant first didn't know what I meant, then said “they” usually close that gate she hadn't heard of around 10 PM. Huh? Maybe staff start giving a crap at 10 PM?

The bathroom sink was clogged, and the room was noisy all night. I was placed beside the ice machine, laundry, fitness center, and lobby, so the stomping started around 5 AM. Street traffic kept coming through too. Then I woke at 4 AM in pain because the pillows were so cheap and uncomfortable. There are supposedly loud and quiet sides, but you pay the same either way. No bathroom outlets, so forget using hair tools. So disappointing. Apparently $200 doesn't buy a comfortable hotel stay anymore.

The staff were friendly and very professional, and my room was clean and reasonably updated. Breakfast was hot and fresh, though the choices were limited, and it was good for a hotel breakfast. A few things may matter to other guests: the shampoo and conditioner are combined, the mini fridge didn't really chill my drinks, and the TV has streaming apps and Fire TV's free live channels but no regular cable. Those things didn't bother me, but I wanted to give people a heads-up. I hadn't expected much from a Best Western, so I was pleasantly surprised.

It's in a great spot for restaurants and the mall, and parking was easy. The room was spacious and the service was good. Noise was the downside: loud vehicles outside, thin walls, and people slamming doors made things annoying.
